March 2008 - Catellus and San Joaquin County Form Partnership

On March 4, 2008, Catellus Development Group, a ProLogis company, and the County of San Joaquin, California, executed the Master Development Agreement for the Stockton Airport East Development Project. The project site consists of approximately 500 acres of agricultural land adjacent to the Stockton Metropolitan Airport. The agreement retained Catellus as the Master Developer and the County for the development of a diversified business park.

Over the next several months, Catellus coordinated efforts with the County of San Joaquin, the Airport Administration, the community and consultants to create a unique and recognizable brand and image for the project. The Stockton Airport East Development Project became Airpark 599, a new and exciting mixed-use business park located in the heart of San Joaquin County. The name "Aripark 599" was derived from the project site's excellent location adjacent to the Stockton Metropolitan Airport between Interstate 5 and Highway 99.
