July 2009 - Construction of Airpark 599's Gateway Breaks Ground

In July, construction crews broke ground on the entry gateway at Pock Lane and Arch Airport Road. The new gateway is one of four future entryways that will provide access into Airpark 599 and 500 acres of development opportunities. The construction also includes the widening of Pock Lane.

The gateway's design reflects elements in the Airpark 599 brand and includes tall, cylindrical forms that echo shapes found in aircraft fuselages.The gateway measures 47 feet in length and is made of aluminum. The cylindrical forms, at a maximum height of 25 feet will illuminate for maximum visibility. Development of the entry gateway is expected to be completed in November 2009.
